The wheels are among the most heavily loaded parts of any aircraft. That's why the rubber tires have to be replaced approximately every 300 to 500 cycles (takeoffs and landings). During maintenance, the rims are disassembled (inboard and outboard halves), cleaned, inspected, and reassembled with new tires. This process requires a high level of expertise, patience, and strength from the mechanics. But that is about to change! It is time for a quantum leap in technology for all process steps in the wheel workshop. Customized automation – with the option of integrating existing systems (retrofit). The result: significantly higher throughput, less effort, and precise, automated documentation of all processes.
We "rox" wheel workshops with automated solutions for aircraft wheel maintenance. From disassembly to handling and storage to final assembly, our technologies ensure greater efficiency and cost-effectiveness, as well as noticeably reducing the workload for employees.
